The warp and weft yarns utilize different dyeing methods—rope dyeing for the warp and cheese dyeing for the weft. Black stitching is used throughout; as the denim fades with wear, the black stitching gradually stands out, creating an aesthetic reminiscent of vintage denim.

Although the fabric is a lightweight 9.6 ounces, the subdued charcoal black and gray tones make it an ideal choice for winter denim. A special stone-washing process imparts a unique smoothness and a lived-in, relaxed texture.
